Crater Lake Ski Patrol volunteers receive extensive rescue training and backcountry training experiences via 2 mandatory trainings, the 1st weekend in November and December every year.  Patrollers participate in classes and ski clinics held throughout the year, avalanche certifications, ropes, sleds, helicopter landings and more.
