Snowmobilers can enjoy a groomed, nine-mile (14.5 km) route to the rim of Crater Lake once sufficient snow is established on the ground.  This route follows the North Entrance Road from Hwy 138 to North Junction.  Snowmobiles are not permitted beyond North Junction or on any other snow-covered areas in the park.

Just like other visitors of Crater Lake National Park, snowmobilers must have a valid entrance pass for the entire duration of their time in the park.  Passes can be purchased in advance at Your Pass Now. In addition to the park pass, any vehicle parked at Oregon’s North Crater Lake Sno-Park required a valied Oregon Sno-Park permit.  To learn more about snow conditions, fees, passes, and regulations, visit Crater Lake National Park Service website.
